Anyone who uses Makeup daily should at least TRY this!

I recently made a Demo / First Impression / Review and (first ever) Hype Or Real episode of my series in my Youtube channel about this Clean It Zero balm-type makeup remover from Banila Co. 

First off, instead of buying the 100ml for Php890, I decided to opt for the Super Size (180ml) because it was obviously much more "sulit" as it was only Php1,270 

For the price difference of only Php380, you get 80ml more.

I highly recommend go for the Super Size.

Hmm, very promising right? 

Because it is indeed an amazing product that does absolutely what it claims to be capable of.

So, for Filipinas, living in this hella hot country, if your room gets extremely hot like Channing Tatum's abs, please do not store your Clean It Zero or any other precious makeup/skincare products there, you might end up regretting that. We don't know the side effects exactly are but just to be sure, let's just follow what the packaging says. 

I remember when I used to love Tony Moly Floria essence, it was such an amazing product but after I forgot that I really liked it and stored it away in my hell-of-a-bedroom, and saw it again after a while, used it, BOOM, breakouts everywhere. I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence but better yet follow what the packaging says. 

So here's how it looks like inside..

but, when I made her try it too, she was left in awe)

I swatched 8 makeup products in my hand to determine whether it can easily glide onto these and erase them all, to give a little bit more info about the longevity of these products I added some more details of each of the swatches:

MAC Ruby Woo - Longwear Matte Lipstick

La Splash Innocent Vixen - Tough to remove liquid lipstick, doesn't come off easily with Micellar

Maybelline Hyper Impact Liner - Longwearing, but easily comes off with Micellar

Etude House Highlighter Stick - easily comes off with any cleanser

Etude House Eyebrow Pencil - Needs Micellar/Cream type cleanser to completely wear off

Revlon Colorstay Concealer - Needs thick cream type makeup remover OR full routine (micellar+cleanser+toner) to wear off completely 

Kylie Lipkit Liner + Liquid Lipstick - doesn't come off with cleanser and micellar, needs oil-based lip makeup remover

And with one swipe of the Banila Co. Clean It Zero..

it already looks like this:

After a couple of seconds rubbing it onto my skin.. 

After wiping it off with a tissue paper:

Viola! It left my skin looking squeaky clean and healthy !!!

There you go, a proof that the reviews in BeautyMNL were not just for hype, but in fact, they speak of the REALest truth about this product.

I would rate this product 9/10 

It could've been 10/10 if it wasn't for the Paraben included in it, as I have read many negative things about Paraben being found in cosmetics/skincare products.

But overall, I was satisfied with the product, and I would re-purchase if I don't find something better than this one. After using this, I felt that I did not have to exert as much effort as I did with Micellar Water before, because this glides so easily, unlike the Micellar that you would have to use a cotton pad that would require pulling and rubbing motions which can be harmful to your skin.

*I've replaced my regular makeup remover (Micellar Water) with Clean It Zero because I felt that it was much more gentle on my skin as it did not require too much rubbing of a cotton pad unlike the micellar wherein I need about 4-5 pads to feel like it's enough, but then I still wash it off with a mild cleanser (COSRX Low Ph Good Morning Cleanser), so let's just go for the gentle makeup remover.

I felt like Micellar has been stressing my skin for using it regularly. 

We can use that when we travel and when we're super tired/lazy to get up and wash our faces, (a.k.a. Emergency Cases Only), but for the daily routine, let's give it up for CLEAN IT ZERO my new love.

Now, I know our skin in our hands and in our faces are very different, our faces are much more softer and more sensitive...

Extremely Affordable, Totally Fashionable.

The one shop I could never resist whenever I stumble upon their branch and bazaar.

You can actually sell pre-loved / pre-owned makeup! (and there's an online group for it!)

I recently bought Coty Airspun Loose Powder in Translucent Extra Coverage..

Reason(s) why I bought it:
- It has about 600+ reviews in Makeup Alley
- A lot of beauty bloggers rave about it
- It's a huge powder (2.3 oz or 65g)
- Very cheap for the quantity you get
    (Got it for Php580 from IG: @ChedelynCosmetics)

Reason(s) why I hate it:
 - Turns out the scent of this product was too strong for me
 - It's finish was not as smooth as I thought it would be











I think many makeup lovers tend to experience this, well I sort of did, many many times in the past. I read reviews so I'd have lower chance of buying products I would regret buying, (cause I don't want to waste money), but somehow you'd still find yourself unsatisfied with the product unlike those who gave positive feedback about it online. I guess we all just have our own preference with makeup.
And when we buy online, we have much higher possibility of regretting our purchase or getting the product in the wrong shade.

Which is why, this 2017, I was so happy to find out and share that there is an online community in facebook wherein we can Sell or Swap makeup. Many thanks to Admin Farrah for approving my request to join! The (mostly) girls here are very polite and transactions are usually hassle-free because of the systematic guidelines made by the admins.

My personal experience in selling pre-loved makeup:
After posting the Coty Airspun, I got a few inquiries and reactions. Just like how you want a product you're trying to sell get noticed, I included a bit of information about the product even though I know it is quite popular to makeup junkies.

I first priced it as php550, but I realized it's 2nd hand so I guess it should be much cheaper, although in BeautyMNL, this is priced at php750, since I only bought it for php580, might as well sell it cheaper. I posted it like this:

Few hours later I got a message she requested that I reserve the powder for her until Saturday.

She then went to my family's vape store in Cabuyao, Laguna for the powder, and it was so hassle-free, she paid for it, a little chitchat, and we're done.

She was super nice, too!

And so I thought this was such a lovely experience and I decided to do a de-stash of my makeup that I only swatched or used once, just like the other girls in the group.

I think it's also a chance to meet other girls who are makeup junkies just like me.

You can also join the group, just wait for the admins to approve it. 

They have over 40,000 members! (it's quite impressive)

The admins really do a great job in maintaining this massive online community.

BYS Brow Gel + Concealer Duo Review

Starting off with the Brow Gel, IT WAS AMAZING. I just really loved it from the moment I tried it. 

I got the shade 03 A Blonde's Best Friend. No, my hair is not blonde, but it looked great on my brows.

The brush is included, its size is perfect for a careful brow gel application. 

It's only 2g but you only need a tiny bit of  it when using it, so I think it'll last quite a while.

Honestly, this is probably one of the best brow product I've ever tried.
I originally wanted to buy Anastasia Dipbrow, but after seeing this, I thought I might as well try buying a drugstore one as it might be dupe before going for the high end one.

And I made the right decision, spent only P399.00 for this baby, Anastasia's brow gel is about P1,200.

Definitely saved a lot this time!

Overall, or should I say obviously, I was completely satisfied with this product. 

It has become my newest favourite. BYS claims it lasts all day and blends easily, both true. 

The best thing about this is that you can really give your brows a good shape even w/o using pencil.

I seriously have nothing to complain about in this brow gel. It's perfect.

Actual use of the products (BYS Brow Gel + Concealer Duo): 

Moving onto the next, 

The BYS Duo Concealer 

As much as I was happy with the brow gel, I was that much disappointed with this one.

The coverage is just poor, and I'm talking about the liquid concealer. It was a huge disappointment.

I love liquid concealers as they are easy to apply and spread onto my under eye area.

My main problem is my panda eye bags, and it was just not doing its job, which is to cover the bags.

I bought this for that part, the cream stick one is just a bonus, so I was devastated with the result.

BUT ! There's more to life than just one concealer hahaha.

 

It's a life saver. The coverage is good, even though I'm not that fond of these types, I even have the Benefit Fake Up but I don't use it that much. This kind of concealer takes quite some time to blend.

And tends to get more oily than liquid concealer.

But then again, at least it wasn't a total waste of P299.00 

It also has this balm thingy in the middle to moisturise while concealing, this prevents the flakiness.

I must say, it lasts all throughout the day and does not change or look awful halfway through.

I'm using it on my under eye area and other flaws on my face. Also on the nose bridge to highlight.

The downside though, it's not as durable, it broke off too easily, probs cause it's too soft.

But overall, I'm quite liking this concealer as it lasts all day and the coverage is flawless.

Tony Moly Haul + Review + Tips ❤

I have been into Tony Moly for about a year now. Funny how I was actually captivated by the brand after ordering the Changing U Magic Mask Sheet Box from YesStyle.co.uk when I was in London.
Ordering an Asian brand from across the world, straight to United Kingdom, but I was not disappointed with it. I ordered it along with my favourite products from Etude House, I then discovered the magic of Tony Moly. My skin (face) felt so energised, healthier brighter, and smoother.
I was instantly hooked! So when I came back to Philippines, I regularly shopped hehe.

So, moving onto other products, the Floria Whitening Capsule Essence (this is my 2nd purchase), is an amazing light product for those who want to achieve a smoother skin, along with whitening.
I'm not definite if this really makes skin white as to my observation, but I'm satisfied with its effects on my skin type, since it is not my concern to have fairer skin tone, as I only want my face to be smoother, which I get from using it. This product lasts for about 2 months for me, and I use it almost every night.

The Hug Me Hair Removal Cream is easy to use, and results to a smooth finish. Though what I don't like about it is that it does not really grab up to the roots, so maybe I won't repurchase. But if you're only after having smoother and fairer skin on the underarm, bikini area, etc., this might be for you.

Peeling Me Aloe Soothing Peeling Gel

I love this product. It truly helps me get rid of dead skin cells, revealing a fresh and moisturised skin.

I use this before bed time, 1-3 times a week. Depending on how much I need/want it.
Followed by my Tony Moly Floria Whitening Capsule Essence.

Or if you want a better pampering night, do this when you're about to sleep and use a mask to get an even more satisfying result in the morning! A super fresh and hydrated skin.

I get this feeling that my skin absorbs the Essence better after I use the Aloe Peeling Gel.

(How it looks on skin)

It's best to use after washing your face, then gently pat dry with towel, make sure your skin's not wet before you apply the gel as it's not as effective when damp. You only need a small amount, so this product's longevity is great. It's better to put just right (amount) so that you'll easily get the dead skin cells.

After spreading evenly, start rubbing it onto skin, you'll then see the dry skin coming off like in the 3rd photo.

Then wash it off. Done. Relish your newest fresh skin!

Tony Moly's Egg Nose Pack is just plain wonderful. It grabs your blackheads and whiteheads with the appropriate application. Pointers is, you just have to make sure that your nose area is REALLY wet! So that the nose pack will stick well and grab onto the unwanted creatures in your pores.

After it dries, gently take it off starting from the side to the center. Viola, the pesky little blackheads and whiteheads are transferred to the nose pack. I recommend using ice, yes ice, maybe ice cube haha just one is enough, rub it onto your skin, gently, especially on the nose area which had just been opened. This is to close the pores that have released the creatures. Yes, you definitely want them to close/tighten again.

Tony Moly Perfect Lip & Eye (makeup) Remover

I always wonder why they don't put the word "make up" in it. It's so creepy haha. Even Etude House's same product's named Lip & Eye Remover hahaha. 

Anyway, love the scent of this. It's effect is good. 

But because I have tried something better, I'm not as satisfied. 

Between Etude House's Lip & Eye (make up) Remover and this, I would choose EH's one.

The packaging is more cute, the scent is even better, the effect of the product is incomparable. 

But, I must not complain as it is a freebie after a 2,000PHP purchase. I'll probs use it if my EH runs out.

Nevertheless, thank you, Tony Moly for the lovely freebies.

BCDation Make Up Fixer

It's like a primer but you use it AFTER the makeup to set it onto place, making it long-lasting.

Though BCDation itself has a long-lasting effect to me. But if the whether's really warm and humid, this Makeup Fixer is your good friend. Also a freebie from this purchase.

Drink lots and lots of water, not only that it has benefits on your skin, it also cleanses your body as it regulates your metabolism. A great way to do this is the first thing in the morning after brushing your teeth, drink a glass of water or two.

Water is the basic detoxifying agent that you can take advantage of, everyday!

With this simple step of drinking water, you'll be doing your skin and body a big favor.

Light and Simple Makeup for Everyday!

Looking for an everyday look that is effortless and quick?
This might be the perfect look for you!

Focus on the eyebrows, lashes, skin and lips. 

In this look, I decided not to use foundation or BB Cream, not even CC Cream. Since I wanted to do it real quick as I was getting late for school. Instead, I used sunblock.

Sunblock as base and I just covered up flaws with my Maybelline FIT me concealer.
And then basically any powder, but I do recommend use a translucent one if you aim for a natural look!

My favourite powder is Rimmel London's Match Perfection, which I use for my everyday makeup.
It has a light coverage so it's perfect for a fresh natural look, but if you want a medium coverage that gives your skin a nice silky smooth finish, Benefit's Hello Flawless is the best to use.

But of course, the option to use foundation / BB or CC cream is always there if you have time.

For foundation, I recommend Rimmel London's Stay Matte foundation, to avoid looking cakey.
BB and CC Cream recommendation will be on other posts.

As for the eyes, I did not use any eye shadow or eye liner, just mascara! Maybelline's Rocket Volume.

Eye shadow is optional again, given that you have time to do it, but stay on the creams, browns and bronzes!

Brows must stay neat, don't arch it too much.

You can just fill in your brows just to define it but don't overdo it.

Highlight the centre of your nose, and highest point of your cheeks.

Contour just a bit, the sides of your nose (if you need it just like me lol)

Put on a very light blush on, maybe a peach or a light pink!

Conceal the sides of your lips, or use a beige lipstick, followed by a pink moisturising lip tint/balm. 

I usually use Bourjois Paris' Lip Crayon to top it off. 

(I'm not sure if we have this in the Philippines, but I do know some Instagram accounts that sell them or pre-order from other countries, if you wanna know them, leave a comment below? :) )

Last step, spritz on a face mist to help you look and stay fresh.
I recommend The Body Shop's Vitamin E Face Mist, keeps your skin fresh and moisturised.
